Why do the rates only go to tomorrow?

While there aren't any official metrics published by Octopus Energy beyond the next day, weather patterns and the carbon intensity of the grid sometimes correlate with prices. This grid analysis site can be used to see the current state of the UK electricity grid.

When do tomorrow's prices release?

The next day's prices usually release at 16:00. The website will automatically sync at that time to serve you the most up to date prices.
